Best cheap hotel in Vegas?

Husband and I are going again in March for 5 days Sunday-Friday. I have to significantly cut back on my hotel budget because of a unexpected GIANT bill we got the other day. I already paid for my flight, and got such a great deal on it -- i was planning on spendign the extra staying somewhere pretty nice...

ANYWAYS, now it looks like I'll have to be staying somewhere cheap :(

What hotel do u think gives you the best rooms for the cheapest rate? I found Binions for $92 for 5 days!! but i looked at their rooms, and they looked pretty terrible!

I don't have to go THAT cheap... so what hotel gives you the most bang for your buck? any suggestions would be helpful :)Best cheap hotel in Vegas?
You did not mention when in March you plan on going. March is not a discounted month since most schools are on spring break.

If you want to stay on the strip Imperial Palace has rooms for $54 per night Sunday through Thursday off the strip is Terrible's a smaller hotel casino on Paradise road to the east of the strip they have deals but you need to call them with specific dates to get your rates, there is also the Sahara at the north end of the strip, their rates are as low as $40 per night pay the extra $8 for a deluxe room, the basic rooms are horrible. These places are OK if you are planning on spending time on the strip or touring around.

If you stay at stratosphere or Sahara, you can purchase a 24 hour bus pass for $5 (the deuce) I would suggest Imperial Palace because of the location and the price.

If you can and depending on the week you choose try Treasure Island or Paris these will be closer to $100 per night, but you did not say what your limit is.

Try vegas.com to search for what you may like and then find the hotels web site and book direct with the hotel. Priceline works great too because you can bid on a room and pick the rating and approximate location of the hotel. if you do try the 4 star, there are many 3 star hotels and some are not so desirable.

I hope this helps

Good Luck and Have Fun!Best cheap hotel in Vegas?
I have stayed in Circus Circus, its fine, especially if you book a Sky Tower room, do not book Manor rooms, they are not good, and often what people refer to in the reviews. It is popular with families because of the indoor theme park, we have always found the hotel room, clean, large and adequate, especially due to the rates. The buffet breakfast is not up to much, but the Garden Grill is very good, and there are so many restaurants anyway to choose from on the strip.

Alternatively, Monte Carlo have recently had good rates available.
The Stratosphere Hotel has good rooms at a good price. I checked in March and they're going for $36.39 per night for the Deluxe Guestroom.

They have some specials and packages, from extreme thrills to every 2nd night free. I've stayed at the Stratosphere and I liked it alot. Great location, rooms, food, and service.

Most of the hotels in downtown Las Vegas are older and aren't in that good of condition. That is why they gave you such a low price.

Hope that helps and good luck in Las Vegas!
The best hotel downtown away from the strip is the Gold Nugget.I stayed there and was very nice. You can take the city bus to the strip for $2.You could check out kayak.com,hotwire.com,priceline.com,trav鈥?to see if there having any specials for hotels. There are some just off the strip you may get a good deal on.To save money while you are there checkout cheapo vegas.com.I hope this helps and have a good time.
If you're renting a car anyway, try the South Point... it's on the strip but about 5 miles down from the good stuff. Also try the older strip hotels like Sahara, Riviera, Harrah's, Imperial Palace, Tropicana. Also try Hooters, Westin, Alexis Park, Tuscany, Mgm is so big that I cant imagine them filling that place withoput some killer deals
I would suggest the Stratosphere. NOT the Riviera. Even if the rooms are free. DO NOT stay there! Very old and smoky rooms. Outdated and I think it had just been renovated when I stayed there.
Try Harrah's - they are like the McDonald's of strip hotels. Cheap and basic, but with a big corporation behind them to maintain the quality to a minimum standard.
Don't do Binions... I would recommend checking out the website BookMe dot com. You can compare ALL the reputable travel sites, and save money. Good luck!
Oh you don't want to stay at a druggie roach motel! Circus Circus is nice and usually has some really cheap prices on rooms--also visit places like expedia, cheaphotels.com etc. to compare prices. Have fun!
circus circus it is nice for the price and you will be off the strip
