Can anybody help me to find a cheaper Hotel or Hostel to live for 3days in Singapore?

I am going to Singapore in June for the SAT exams, only a student in China. I don't want to spend too much money on accommodation fee. a place around 50 Singapore dollars for one night is accecptable.

For your info, the backpackers' hotel prices rendered are exceptionally low and more affordable than the normal 2 or 3 stars Singapore hotels by 40 - 60%. So it is really cheap and most importantly, you get to know more international room mates and get interactions with them.

you may try posting your enquiries at www.katonghostel.com. i'm not sure if they provide such short term accomodation cos from what i can see on their website, the shortest accomodation is for 3 months. this hostel is quite near the East Coast Park and has students of different nationalities as its residents. many chinese students stays there. as an alternative, you can try backpackers hotel in Little India (nice and interesting)or Geylang (caution: Geylang is a red light district, may not be suitable if you're female).
