The only thing remotely close to a hotel near the Sub-T is one of those hotels for displaced people or street people. You know... those $25/night, cheap cot, no clean sheets places, wouldn't live through night type of place. That area is too much of a neighborhood type area. You may want to consider the hotels by UIC or heading East on North near city but won't be cheap. There are no Ho-Jos or Motel 6 places around there at all.
