the brighton grove hotel on brighton grove has always been known for being cheap but i think it will be a bit of a dive not sure though... but if it just a bed after a drunken night out why not.. there are loads of hotels in jesmond and i am sure some quite fairly priced guest houses aswell.. jesmond is the place to stay its near the toon and also has some excellent bars and nightlife there it is about 10-15 min walk from toon or a 5 min metro ride... good luck and enjoy
Dont bother Newcastle was Shite was there this weekend wish i had went to the club!
Try this http://www.jesmondhotel.org.uk/

It's decent and reasonably priced, in a very nice swanky area called Jesmond.
Went there for a stag do, stopped in the Comforth Inn, was fairly cheap.
Check out this site called http://www.cheaphotel-s.com Its search covers 30 over sites with 700,000 hotels.

All the best.
I haven't spoken to my wife in 18 months - I don't like to interrupt her.

Her Dad owns a hotel there.

I think it's called the Booze and Snooze.

He's cheap.
Don't bother with Newcastle. Come to Sunderland, it's more important than Newcastle, it's the biggest populace area in the North East, has 2 nice beaches, everythings less expensive, very close to the countryside (I live 2 minutes from open fields), nice riverside walks.

Newcastle - its got nothing except thick Geordies.

Q: What鈥檚 the difference between a bowling ball and a Geordie lass.

A: You can only get 3 fingers in a bowling ball.
Does anyone know any hotels in Newcastle that are expensive?
You can try www.hotelbooklet.com which compares more than 30 popular hotel reservations sites and shows all available deals!
That's a difficult one. I went there recently and counldn't find anything below 拢45 per night. In the end I went to nearby Sunderland, where you can find a place for 拢20, if you're willing to put up with the travel.
