Can anyone recommend a decent, fairly cheap hotel/B&B in Buffalo and Rochester NY?

I need a hotel, guest house, B %26amp; B or hostel (that has private rooms) for one night in both Buffalo and Rochester. I don't really want to spend more than $100 a night and would really appreciate any recommendations anyone has!Can anyone recommend a decent, fairly cheap hotel/B%26amp;B in Buffalo and Rochester NY?
there are these new things called travel websites that have recommendations for hotels in whatever city your heart desires...sorry for the sarcasm, but seriously....

www.priceline.com

I'm from Buffalo and I can tell you that there really aren't any crappy crappy hotels downtown...if you're gonna stay in the suburbs by the airport then you should check out the Genesee street hotels in Cheektowaga, or the Transit Rd hotels in Lancaster/Williamsville which are right off the Thruway exit, I believe its exit 49. And you shouldn't have any problem finding a decent hotel room for less than $100 bucks in Buffalo, we're not an expensive city to visit.

edit:

Buffalo and its suburbs aren't really ';quaint'; kinds of places with B%26amp;B's and boutique hotels. To be honest with you the independent hotels have a skeezy, rent by the hour kind of look about them and I could not recommend one independent hotel in my area to someone without thinking that they would leave with bedbugs. Good luck, though. Can anyone recommend a decent, fairly cheap hotel/B%26amp;B in Buffalo and Rochester NY?
Really, Buffalo and Rochester are not small places and it really depends on were you want to stay. Prices are not usually much over $100. Usually about $75. As far as a B%26amp;B, again...are you looking for north or east of the city? Near the airport or train? are you stopping here for a reason? Love to help but with out more details it really is impossible.
I don't think there is such a thing I watched a show on TV a few weeks ago and they put cameras in the rooms to see how good they cleaned them and they were 5 star on down to the worst and they didn't clean the 5 star any better then the other the 5 star had fancy glasses that had lipstick on them and drinks that people left they wiped them out with dirty wet rags they used to clean with and dried them with a dirty dry rag not to mention others thing they did I could only image what I didn't see
