Does anyone know of a good cheap hotel in downtown Austin, Tx during March 18-20, 2009?

This is what I am looking for:


-20+ check-in


-$150 or less per night


-3 or 4 stars


-Free parking


-near downtown (6th street)


-Complimentary breakfast or Refrigerator/ Microwave

The others are right, SWSX will be in full swing. If you can even find a hotel near downtown, it won't be cheap. You might consider looking for a hotel outside downtown and use the unlimited shuttle service that will be running:

My cheap stand-by for Downtown Austin is the Super 8 on I-35, and even it's booked for your dates. It's too close to SxSW.


You'll need sacrifice your ';near Downtown'; requirement and probably take a bus in. The bus system in Austin is actually pretty good.
