Cheap hotel/hostel in tokyo for 2 young women?

so i'm 20 and my sister is 16 and we want to go to tokyo for a week or two this summer (i'll be 21, she'll be 17) but i cant seem to find a hotel or hostel that is both cheap and allows women. any suggestions? and please dont say a capsule hotel! i dont mind a communal room but ideally i'd like a room just for me and her. we could share a bed. we want to spend 2000-3000 yen ($20-$30) a night MAXIMUM. and in tokyo we dont want to have a commute we want to be in the thick of things.

Lucky you, it'll be so much fun! Youth hostels are the cheapest. Capsule hotels are horribly expensive anyway.

There is no hotel in which you can stay just for $20-30 per night.





The hostel that D is showing has the rate of ';per person per night';. So if it says 3000 yen, it means you and your sister need to pay 6000 yen in total.





Or your ';2000-3000 yen'; means that each of you can pay that cost?





US dollar is falling against yen. It's not 2000yen=$20 now. It's 2000yen=$22.





Even the cheapest hostel requires you to pay $40 or so.
