You really need to look into budget type accommodation in such an instance, especially since your budget looks quite tight.
Consider the typical budget, one and two room london hotels. You will find them easily by doing some research online - for example:-
* Acacia House Hotel London
* Adare Hotel London
* Airways Hotel London
* Alexandra Hotel London
* Ambassador Bayswater Hotel London
* Americana Hotel London
* An-nur Hotel London
* Apollo Hotel London
* Ascot Hotel London
* Athena Palace Hotel London
* Avon Hotel London
You really do get what you pay for with London hotels. You really need to shop around to find the best deals because there are hundreds of hotels if not thousands. Basically, the further away from the centre of London you are, the cheaper they will be so you need to work out if you're happy to commute into the centre each day or want to be in the centre. www.expedia.co.uk, www.tripadvisor.com, www.opodo.com, www.laterooms.com, www.superbreak.co.uk, www.hotels.com are all a good place to start but remember to check on tripadvisor before you book to see what people have said about the place before you book it. Some places really are flea pits where they rent the rooms by the hour and you have to share a bathroom with other people. Try the areas around Paddington, Pimlico, Basywater, Vauxhall and Bloomsbury for guest house type hotels. Travelodge and Holiday Inn Express websites are worth a look too, prices vary depending on how far in advance you book and how busy they are but you know you're going to get a basic clean 3 star hotel. I would expect to pay nothing less than 拢70 a night for a decent 3 star central hotel in London but around 拢40 - 拢50 a night for one just outside the centre.
I got a room in Hammersmith a single one I paid 140 it was near the station but I don't remember its name.. maybe now could cost a little bit more but I think could be cheaper that 拢200
Just try to search by zone in london I use http://www.hotelbyhotel.net
and I am sure you can find it or maybe somenthing similar in price.
Travelodge are usually the cheapest option with reliable quality, they have some really central ones and huge family rooms. Otherwise the best way to search is to use expedia.co.uk or lastminute.com and order the results by price.
- check out the link below, it has plenty of options for you.
