Does anybody know a very cheap hotel in Matheran?

I'm planning to go this weekend. The fares can be till Rs 1000. if anybody knows or has recently been there pls send me the exact address and their contact for booking. its urgent.

There are plenty of good hotels at Matheran that are under Rs.500. The same rooms cost Rs. 350 on weekends. These are rag-pack hotels but decent ones. I would suggest Hotel Preeti (close to station). There are more options listed here

MTDC is not an excellent choice in Matheran. If you want a bit of heritage, you can try wayside inn started by the scion of the family who built the Matheran rail. It is around Rs.500 per personDoes anybody know a very cheap hotel in Matheran?
i know of kumar plaza near panorama point but the rates are on the higher side.
