Try Priceline.com and bid for a hotel. I did this last May and my husband and I got the Radisson downtown for $33/night plus an extra $10 for parking in the hotel garage. We had a room with a river view right in front of the Arch. I think the ';retail'; on the room was like $130 night. They even bumped us up to a nicer room because I requested a King and it was sold out.
If you haven't used Priceline before, you pick a location (in this case Downtown St Louis) and a star rating and name what you're willing to pay. If you're lucky, they will bring back a hotel willing to take that price. I've used them for multiple locations including Orlando and Chicago and have always gotten great prices on awesome hotels.I am looking for a cheap hotel in St. louis Mo near the Edward Jones Dome for after an event in Feburary.?
Go to priceline.com I got a great rate at the mariott downtown. Just make a offer of what you will give and if it's in the off season you will get a great price.
There are plenty of hotels within 1 mile of the Edward Jones Dome and under $100. Check at expedia.com for your exact travel dates..http://www.expedia.com/pub/agent.dll?qsc鈥?/a>
did you try looking on the net for a bread and breakfast.
Is the event possibly Monster Jam. I am staying at the Rennissance, which is a couple of blocks. I tried the Drury (which is right next door) but they did not have rooms available that night. If I am uncannily correct about the event, that is the same night as Mardi Gras...so book early. I got my room for 119. That was the cheapest of the hotels nearest dome except for the econo lodge. However, I drive by there everyday and I know where the econo lodge is located. I would rather pay a little extra instead of staying at that one.
Try hotels.com
The Drury Inn and Suites Convention Center off N. Broadway is usually anywhere between $60-$100. Great location, surrounded by lots that St. Louis has to offer. Hope this helps and have fun in the Lou!
