first, there are lots of budget hotels under 100 usd which are nice ones too. Fortuna Singapore hotel, lion city hotel, summer view hotel are cheap. check them at www.excelloz.com to suit ur need. for transportation is always available as singapore is juz a tiny country or city and developed.
Do check out the ';Hotel 81'; chain which offer basic room and also at many location.. i think the rates starts at about SGD50

I'm assuming you are an independent/budget traveller on a tight budget..... if you are not then u dont have to follow my 2 points worth of advise .





This budget hotel chain will accept any walk in customer... or if you coming in from the airport.. just pick-up the the yellow pages and give them a call ... they have hotels all arong the city, so location is not a problem....


as for room service.. if you talking about f%26amp;b ... then its a problem cos they dont provide such.. only the standar in room coffee/tea making facilities. (most of this hotel are located around food places within minutes walking distance)
