What fun stuff, beach, and cheap hotel is in RED BANK, NJ?

My boyfriend and I are taking a pilgrimage to Jay and Silent Bobs Secret Stash. We want to make a weekend out of the trip with our 3 year old son who loves the beach, playgrounds, food, shopping, and everything else entertaining. The address is:

I am looking for amusements (mini golf, movies, rides, ect.), cheap hotels (we will be staying one or two nights, the cheaper the better), and if possible and near by beach or even water park (preferably a beach).What fun stuff, beach, and cheap hotel is in RED BANK, NJ?
The Jersey Shore is no place for a child! ;) The closest amusement/water park is probably Dorney Park, it's about 2 hours away. Next best place would probably be Wildwood, NJ which is also about 2 hours away.





Have a good trip, I've always wanted to go to the Secret Stash, you lucky dogs!!! If it were me, I would go on a scavenger hunt around Red Bank, to try and find all the locations from the movies.
